Franz has signed several songs for pop music (included “”>Banane e lampone” played by the most famous italian singer Gianni Morandi), for Lyric Opera (“La famosa invasione degli orsi in Sicilia” opera’s book from the homonymous Dino Buzzati’s work), and for children (television signature tune “L’albero della vita” and several songs in the album “Il re dei re”).
From 1999, he has chosen “theater-song”, formula that mix songs and storyes, reciting “Ciao Signor G. !” dedicated to Giorgio Gaber; “Sono Fred, dal whisky facile” to remember the former italian swing man Fred Buscaglione; “Intonati a regola d’arte” that says about painting and contemporary art; “Lo zingaro miracoloso – Django Reinhardt, il geniale chitarrista manouche” with the story of a great gipsy guitarist; “Siamo o non siamo la coppia più bella del mondo ?” that repeats the most famous italian songs duet; “Canzoni da mangiare” with the songs dedicated at the food.
Other experiences: radio compére in “Cos’è che mi dici ?” – RAI Radiodue – ; “Spogliati tutta” – Radio Fashion; and “Top Premiere Awards” on air every week in 50 local radio in Italy.

M.C. (Master of Cerimonies) of Poetry Slam. Author and comére of Festivals dedicated at poetry, music, comics and literature as “Parole animate”, “Premiata Palestra Atlas per muscoli del cervello”, “Eroticamente”, “L’assassino è il chitarrista” . In 2007 and 2008 he realized in Bologna the Festival “Lyrics – autori e canzoni”.
Publications: several songs in 12 different album of other artists. In 1994 the first album “Franz Campi”, in 2004 “Saluta i gatti e buonasera”. In 2013 released “Che soggetto quel Fred !”, a DVD with a documentary dedicated to Fred Buscaglione’s life and a CD with his songs interpreted by Franz and his band.
Some recognitions: 2008 – his song “Beslan” is hosted in “Peace’s museum” in Samarkand (Uzbekistan); – 2006 – “Lunezia prize” for the best italian liryc; – “Primo Maggio”, as best Emilia-Romagna’s band; 2002 Literary prize “I fiumi – Città di Ceggia”; – 1993 winner selection of “Sanremo Giovani”; – 1994 finalist in “44° Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo”; – 1992 – Prize “Magna Grecia Festival di Siracusa”; – 1991 – Prize “Radio Corriere TV”.
